Can I trust the privacy boundary between companies?
Yes. Every company on the platform lives in its own private space. Your records are walled off from every other tenant by design — and your team can never accidentally see, query, or export another company's data. Privacy is built into the foundation, not bolted on later.
How does the Owner portal work without an Owner account?
The Owner doesn't need a paid seat. When you toggle "Portal access" on their contact, they receive a single-use email link that takes them to a private, branded page where they can review and digitally sign certified pay applications. They only ever see what's been shared with them — nothing else. Links expire on a schedule you choose, and you can revoke access any time.
What happens to a pay app document after the Owner signs it?
The original Architect-certified document is preserved exactly as it was at the moment of certification — it can never be altered. When the Owner signs, we generate a second, signed copy alongside it. Both are available to download forever, and re-downloads always match the originals byte for byte. Your audit trail stays clean and defensible.
Can subtrades see the Schedule of Values?
No. By default, only your tenant admins and the GC's project managers can see Schedule of Values and pay-application data on a project. Subtrade workers, consultants, and unrelated project members see nothing — not in lists, not in dashboards, not anywhere. The only narrow exception is a consultant who has been formally assigned to certify a specific pay app, who gets read-only access to that one pay app for the duration of the review.
Can I migrate from Procore, PlanGrid, or my current spreadsheets?
Spreadsheet import for Schedule of Values and Custom Forms is available today, so you can move your existing pay-app templates over in minutes. Project schedule import is on the roadmap, along with accounting and ERP integrations. Tell us what you're using today and we'll give you a straight answer about timelines.
